750-880 Ethernet 2.0 Controller with SD Card Slot

The 750-880 is part of WAGO’s ETHERNET 2.0 family of  programmable fieldbus controllers.  The new 750-880  includes expandable memory via a SD card for additional storage space up to 8 GB.  The SD card can also be used to back-up and restore the controller’s application program.  The IP 20 controller is also available in an extended temperature version that can operate from -20°C to +60°C for service in harsh conditions.

 

The 750-880 offers two ETHERNET interfaces with an integrated switch to simplify networking in line topologies. This controller can be easily integrated into IT structures, providing a link between various signals for both field and IT applications.  ETHERNET 2.0 controllers are the ideal combination for real-time PLC and IT services.  The controller has a higher clock frequency and improved processing structure.  Plus the IEC 61131-3 compliant controller is capable of multitasking to enhance system performance enabling it to process 1000 instructions in 230 µs. 

The 750-880 has ample memory for more complex applications; 1 MB program memory, 1 MB data memory with option for further expansion with the SD card up to 8GB and 32 kB of non-volatile memory .The IP address can also be set via a DIP switch, which simplifies commissioning. The controller supports standard Ethernet network protocols as well as MODBUS/TCP and EtherNet/IP.
